Celebrating Chinese New Year- A Time for Family, Tradition and Renewal

2024-02-14

Dear Valued Customers,

As we approach the vibrant and joyous occasion of Chinese New Year, we wanted to take a moment to share with you some insights into this important holiday and inform you of our office closure dates.

Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is the most significant traditional holiday in China. It is a time when families come together to celebrate and welcome the arrival of a new year, marked by the lunar calendar. This year, the Chinese New Year falls on February 9th, and it ushers in the Year of the Dragon, symbolizing honour, strength, and power.

The festival begins with the New Year’s Eve gathering, where families enjoy a reunion dinner filled with traditional dishes and shared memories. The night is often accompanied by vibrant fireworks displays and the exchanging of red envelopes, which contain money and blessings for good fortune.

Throughout the festival, which typically lasts for 15 days, people engage in various customs and practices to honor their ancestors, seek good luck, and ward off bad fortune. This includes cleaning their homes to sweep away any bad luck, displaying couplets and lanterns to add a festive atmosphere, and participating in dragon and lion dances to bring prosperity.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our customers a joyful and prosperous Chinese New Year. May the year ahead bring you happiness, success, and good health.

Please note that our office will be closed from [Feb 8] to [Feb 17] to celebrate this special holiday with our families and friends. We will resume our normal business operations on [Feb 17].

During our closure, our customer service team will still be available to assist you via email or our online chat platform. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to serving you even better in the Year of the Dragon.

Best wishes for a prosperous New Year!
